ADHD makes emotional and cognitive regulation challenging for me. After a few minutes of walking practice, I noticed colors were more vivid, everything was sharper. I am finding that these tools can help with both cognitive and emotional regulation.

I wanted to learn how to deal with asthma triggered by forest fire smoke. The mindfulness tools have helped me. I don’t panic as much; I’ve been able to stand back and calm myself down.

It was refreshing and exciting to learn that short daily practice can be more effective than a longer one once a week. I am further along on the journey toward establishing a regular practice.

The class is taught in a gentle, inclusive and validating manner.

Laura presented at our employee retreat and was so well received! While all of the stress management exercises were useful, our staff particularly enjoyed the nature biomimicry exercise. Being prompted to use all of our senses and remain present while outdoors is something that really hit home for us. Laura received high marks all around. We would recommend her highly as a facilitator for those charged with helping a group cope with life’s challenges.
